Funerals and ChurchyardsI expect if you have come to this page of the website, it may be a sad time for you and your family. We pray regularly for the bereaved, and assure you of our desire to offer the best Christian ministry and pastoral support we can through a time of loss. | Home | Contact Us | Baptisms | Weddings | Funerals | | Arrangements for the FuneralYou can read some notes here on what we offer for the Funeral Service. Arrangements for the Funeral are usually made through a Funeral Director ('undertaker'). They liaise with us and you should contact them first. Do see the notes here on what is appropriate for a Christian funeral. But sometimes people want very simple arrangements for the burying (interment) of Ashes or to discuss arrangements for graves or memorials. They should then arrange to contact us in the first instance.Graves and the Church YardsPlease check the Diocesan Regulations before making any decisions about memorials, or talk to a local stonemason. Please also read our own Local Regulations before considering altering graves or planting in the church yards. |
